Meet Angela Athar FNP-BC, CDCES

Angela Athar is an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner who has been serving local communities since 2008, first in Orange and now in Culpeper.

Originally from Florida, Angela earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University in 1997 and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida in 2006. She began her clinical career at Emory Clinic in Smyrna, Georgia before relocating to Culpeper in 2008.

Angela has a special interest in endocrine disorders and completed an advanced Endocrinology specialty certificate program through Duke University in 2024. She is board-certified in diabetes education and management. She is also a member of the Endocrine Nurses Society.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys cooking, exercising, and spending time with her family.

Angela sees patients at our 891 Willis Lane location.
