Meet Abigail Carruthers PA-C

Abigail Carruthers is a dedicated Physician Assistant with a diverse clinical experience spanning family medicine, urgent care, gastroenterology, neuropsychiatry, and brain injury medicine. Her broad background allows her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

Abigail completed her B.A., in Sociology from George Mason University at Fairfax Virginia before going into the M.S., Physician Assistant Program at Jefferson College of Health Sciences at Roanoke, VA.

As a Certified Medical Examiner for CDL/DOT physicals, she is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of commercial drivers while maintaining regulatory standards. She brings a detail-oriented and compassionate approach to every patient interaction.

She is deeply passionate about improving patients’ quality of life through thoughtful diagnosis, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing management of both acute and chronic illnesses. Her goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and support they need to achieve optimal health and long-term wellness.
