Dr. Stephanie Grice grew up in western New York, near Buffalo. In 2006, she received dual bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Psychology from Long Island University. She went on to graduate from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY in 2010.

Dr. Grice first came to Virginia for pediatric residency at the University of Virginia. While a resident, she was recognized with a teaching award and a community advocacy award. Following her residency, she returned to New York to work in a Pediatric Urgent Care. She is well practiced in acute illness and various musculoskeletal and traumatic injuries including fractures, sprains, concussions and lacerations.

In 2014, she returned to Virginia to work in primary care pediatrics. She has special interests in infant feeding (all types including breast, pumping, formula, and combinations), parent coaching in the first year of life, early childhood emotional developmental and parenting strategies, and childhood fitness and nutrition. She also has robust experience treating children and adolescents with sleep difficulty, anxiety, autism, speech/language delay, ADHD, and depression. When she isn't in the office, Dr. Grice enjoys music, sports (Buffalo Bills football, UVA basketball), outdoor activities and water sports. Most of all, she loves spending time with her family, including her husband, step-daughter (Marcella) and son (Bennett).
